This own-designed and manufactured polish is a coarse-grained cutting compound. It is specially designed to remove all surface imperfections after finishing the varnishing and sanding process. It removes scratches caused by finishing sandpaper (2000 to 3000 grit) and brings out the surface shine. Designed for use with all types of varnishes, whether water-based, nitrocellulose or polyurethane. This polishing paste is water-based and silicone-free.

Compound cut can be applied either by hand or by machine, with its respective white cutting sponge of 80 or 150 mm. The result will always be better if you use a machine, but you should not exceed 1200 to 1500 revolutions. Otherwise you may overheat the surface, it is therefore advisable to check the surface temperature from time to time. This polish is designed to keep the surface temperature low when polishing and removes marks permanently, although once the application is finished it is recommended to wipe off the excess with a damp cloth.

It's necessary to shake the can vigorously for a few minutes before use. This product is a cutting polish, so after use it's necessary to complete the polishing process with our Superfinish polish (article number: #55198 / N920740112) to achieve the optimum degree of brightness to your guitar.
